Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using ProfileLift responsibly — what's allowed, what's not, and how violations are handled.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all users of ProfileLift services, including the Text to Flowchart, Minutes to Mindmap, and SOP to Cards tools, whether accessed via the web app, API, or any third-party integration.

2. Permitted Use

You may use ProfileLift for lawful, personal, or professional purposes, including:

  • Converting your own documents, notes, or process descriptions into structured visual outputs
  • Using generated outputs in internal presentations, reports, and documentation
  • Sharing generated outputs with colleagues, clients, or stakeholders for work purposes
  • Evaluating the service during a free trial before subscribing

3. Prohibited Content

You must not submit or generate content that:

  • Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise harmful
  • Infringes third-party intellectual property, copyright, or trade secrets
  • Contains personal data of others without their explicit consent
  • Is designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead any person or entity
  • Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or violence against any group

4. Prohibited System Abuse

You must not attempt to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the service
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorization
  • Gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or generated outputs
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to the service
  • Bypass, circumvent, or disable any security, access control, or rate-limiting mechanism

5. Automation and Bulk Abuse

The following automated or bulk-use behaviors are prohibited without prior written approval:

  • Scraping, crawling, or bulk-extracting content or outputs from the service
  • Running automated scripts or bots that generate high request volumes
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing generated outputs as part of a competing service
  • Sharing a single account or API key among multiple users or organizations

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or permanently terminate access without notice for breaches of this policy. We may also report serious violations — including illegal activity or security attacks — to relevant authorities. All enforcement decisions are at our sole discretion.
